Meet Our New Basketball Team - The Bay Ballers
We've recently sponsored a local Hawke's Bay Basketball team helping them with a great new uniform. They look the part! We can't wait to see how they go this season.

Teddies For Loving Care
The work of TLC is funded through the generous donations of Freemasons, their families and supporters of the programme. Many Freemasons also volunteer hundreds of hours each year. Since 2001, more than 30,000 teddies have been given to children in need.
"It's not just a teddy, it's so much more".

Tamatea/Greendale Scouts
Scinde Lodge members successfully raised funds to support the Greendale/Tamatea Scouts, enabling them to participate in the 2023 National Scout Jamboree. This triennial event saw the scouts proudly host an international group, traveling to New Zealand specifically for the jamboree.

Solid Mates | Stronger Values | Deeper Traditions | Something Special
Every year, Scinde Lodge - along with the Freemasons Charity - supports local organisations, families, medical research, university student scholarships, and various other national needs. Our values of care and kindness are key to our charitable activities in our communities. We've been fortunate enough to work with many different local and national organisations, helping in whichever way we can.

Pain relief and taking medication is about to become much easier for Cranford Hospice patients with new syringe drivers which automatically supply medicines to those who need them.
Syringe drivers are small battery-operated devices that administer medicines intravenously over a selected time, usually 24 hours. Medicines are drawn into a syringe that is then attached to the driver, which is set to move the plunger at an accurately controlled rate. Scinde Lodge has been fund raising for the last year to buy five of the syringe drivers for Cranford Hospice.

Thanks to the lodge’s efforts, the aging tents were replaced in time for the jamboree, which kicked off in late December 2023. The scouts, who empower young people from ages 5 to 18 by helping them build confidence and reach their potential, were able to attend the jamboree fully prepared.
